Course Information

In retail, retail financial or bank branches, convenience stores or anywhere cash sales are prominent, the risk of robbery is elevated and therefore requires good, practical, and appropriate training for all employees who may be exposed. The problem is that today robbery training is boring, ineffective and meaningless. It tells employees what they are supposed to do but it does nothing to improve their skills to actually do what they are supposed to do.

Today, however, the risk of robbery is much lower than the risk of a general act-of-vioelnce which may require completely different response than that of a robbery. The problem: with only robbery training your employees will not know the difference between a robbery and an active shooter or other general incident of violence and won't have the skills to transition from one response to another. In fact, a lack of this training leaves them with only one trained option - comply! Unfortunately, training that teaches compliance is actually creating more danger!

This course goes way beyond meaningless training by instilling personal responsibility and a desire to get better at security, the importance of doing so and, how to perform during a highly stressful, chaotic, and threatening incident.
